Background
KOKO was created to bring ice cream beyond the everyday dessert category and into the world of hosting, entertaining, and shared experiences. The goal was to build a brand that felt premium and thoughtfully crafted, yet approachable enough to become a natural part of family gatherings, dinner parties, and special occasions.
Challenge
The challenge was to develop a brand identity and packaging design that would stand out in a crowded ice cream category without relying on the colorful, overloaded visual language common in the market. At the same time, the brand needed to feel boutique and high quality without appearing exclusive, expensive, or intimidating. The system also had to support a growing range of more than 13 different flavors while maintaining a consistent and recognizable brand presence.
Solution
We developed a branding and packaging design system built around simplicity, clarity, and confidence. Rather than competing through visual noise, the design allows the ingredients and flavors to take center stage. The project included logo design, brand identity development, and packaging design for a diverse product range, creating a cohesive visual system that gives each flavor its own character while strengthening the overall brand.
The clean, minimal packaging creates strong shelf presence while communicating quality and authenticity. Designed as a scalable system, the brand can easily expand with new flavors and future product lines without losing consistency. The result is a packaging family that feels equally at home in the freezer, on a beautifully set dining table, or as part of a thoughtful hosting experience, transforming ice cream into a product people are proud to serve and share.
